In 2023, McDonald’s Singapore and Bandwagon Labs launched 2,000 Grimace NFTs, distributed free of charge by the McDonald’s app. These “soulbound” tokens, minted on the Ethereum scaling community Polygon, are non-transferable and include particular options within the metaverse.
Grimace NFT holders have entry to unique in-game gadgets, a secret island, and the flexibility to show Grimace-themed art work within the Restaurant of the Future inside “My Completely happy Place.”
