Fed chair Powell views Bitcoin as digital gold, not a dollar competitor

The Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell dismissed the notion of Bitcoin as a substitute for the U.S. greenback, as a substitute framing the main crypto as a speculative asset similar to gold.

Powell shared his insights throughout an look at The New York Instances DealBook Summit in Manhattan, emphasizing Bitcoin’s volatility and restricted use as a type of cost or retailer of worth.
