Metropolitan Museum hires Sotheby’s veteran to lead its provenance research team

Almost a 12 months after the Metropolitan Museum of Artwork in New York introduced the creation of an inner provenance analysis staff, the museum is hiring Lucian Simmons to guide these efforts.
