South Korea’s FSC warns against brokerage of foreign Bitcoin ETFs

South Korea’s Monetary Companies Fee raised issues that home securities corporations brokering overseas-listed Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) might violate native legal guidelines, in line with a Jan. 12 discover.

This warning from the FSC comes within the wake of its renewed ban on crypto investments by monetary establishments. In Dec. 2017, South Korean regulators carried out emergency measures prohibiting institutional cryptocurrency investments.
